Web and product development · Audit first

Free site audit. Then we build what the numbers justify.

We review your existing site or build at no cost: Lighthouse scores, Core Web Vitals, SEO readiness, and a brief on what is slowing you down or holding back conversions. If you want it fixed or built properly, we scope a fixed-price engagement: marketing sites, landing pages, and product builds that are fast, measurable, and SEO-ready from day one.

Why we start with a free audit

Most web projects fail on the wrong kind of scope.

A developer who has not looked at your current site cannot tell you what is actually wrong with it. So the proposal is built around billable hours, the spec is vague, and six months later you have a beautiful site with a 6-second load time and no analytics instrumentation.

We flipped it. The audit comes first, it comes free, and it answers a specific question: what is actually costing you conversions and search visibility right now, and what is each problem worth fixing? You see the findings before any money changes hands. If the numbers do not justify the build, we will tell you, and you owe nothing.

Because we are the same team that runs SEO and growth for the companies we build for, the site we ship is already instrumented, already structured for search, and already performing before the first visitor arrives.

8/10
Sites we audit have a measurable Core Web Vitals failure on mobile that is costing them both rankings and conversions. It is almost always fixable within the first sprint without a full rebuild.
How it works

Four steps. The audit lands in a week.

No procurement loop, no open-ended retainer, no day-rate negotiation. The whole front end runs on one form and one call.

1

Tell us your site or repo

Work email and the URL or repository you want reviewed. A brief note on what you are trying to do next is useful but not required. That is the whole form.

~60 seconds
2

We audit your build

We run Lighthouse on mobile and desktop, check Core Web Vitals against real field data, review SEO readiness, accessibility, analytics setup, and the current stack for constraints.

A few days
3

Findings call

A short call to walk through what we found, what each issue is costing you, and how we would approach fixing it. You keep the audit report whether or not you engage us.

Scope and ship

If you want it built or fixed, we scope a fixed engagement: what gets shipped, what the deliverables are, and the price, all in writing before any work begins.

Same week
What we build

Marketing sites, landing pages, and product builds.

Everything we ship is SEO-ready, instrumented, accessible, and built with performance budgets enforced from the first commit. The stack depends on what you are building and how it needs to grow.

Marketing sites

Fast, SEO-ready sites built for growth: semantic HTML, structured data, performance budgets, and a CMS workflow that lets non-technical teams publish without breaking things. Built to rank, built to convert.

Landing pages

Single-purpose pages built to convert: tight copy, fast load, analytics instrumented, and A/B testable from the start. Every element has a job and a metric attached to it.

Product builds

Web applications and product features built in sprints: working software at the end of each sprint, tested, accessible, and documented. No big reveals, no scope creep, no surprises at launch.

Performance remediation

Targeted fixes to an existing site that is too slow, failing Core Web Vitals, or scoring poorly on Lighthouse. We find the specific bottlenecks, fix them in order of impact, and verify the results against real field data.

Design systems and component libraries

A shared component library that keeps the site consistent as it grows: documented, tested, accessible, and built so your team can extend it without asking an engineer every time.

Integrations and migrations

Third-party integrations, CMS migrations, analytics and tracking setup, and API connections that work correctly from day one. We write the specs, test the outputs, and document what we changed and why.

Want the methodology in full? Every one of these is broken down in the complete web development guide: how we scope, how we choose the stack, how we enforce performance budgets, and how the engagement runs from audit to launch. This page is the short version that gets you a free audit; the guide is the reference.

Sample audit finding

This is what one finding looks like.

Every item in your audit follows the same structure: what is wrong, the data behind it, the performance or conversion impact it is causing, and the exact fix we would apply. Nothing vague, nothing generic.

The card on the right is illustrative. Your audit is built from your own real Lighthouse and field data.

PERF-007 · LCP regression
Critical LCP 4.8s to 1.9s Mobile · Hero image
Hero image is render-blocking on 3G and slowing Largest Contentful Paint to 4.8s on mobile.
What the data shows
Lighthouse mobile audit: LCP 4.8s (field data confirms p75 at 5.1s). The hero image is 1.4 MB PNG served without width and height attributes, no srcset, and loaded without fetchpriority="high". On a slow 3G connection the LCP element does not paint until 4 to 5 seconds in.
The fix
1. Convert hero to WebP with a 2x srcset (80kb target at 1280px)
2. Add explicit width and height attributes to prevent CLS
3. Add fetchpriority="high" and rel="preload" in the head
4. Remove lazy loading from the hero (it is the LCP element)
Expected result: LCP below 2.0s on mobile, CLS below 0.05
Engagement tiers

Sized to what you need to ship.

Every engagement is a fixed scope, not an open retainer. The right tier depends on what the audit finds and what you want to ship. Prices are set after the audit and written into the agreement before any work begins.

FAQ

Questions we get every week.

What does the free audit actually cover? +
We run a technical review of your existing site or codebase: Lighthouse scores on mobile and desktop, Core Web Vitals against your real traffic data, SEO readiness (crawlability, structured data, render strategy), accessibility pass, and a brief on what the current stack makes easy or hard. You get a written report and a short call to walk through it. No charge, no obligation.
Do you work with our existing stack or replace it? +
Both, depending on what the audit tells us. We work with whatever you have if it is sound: adding a component system, improving performance, reworking the CMS setup. We recommend a stack change only when the current one is a genuine constraint on what you are trying to do, and we explain the reasoning in writing before anything starts.
How do you handle design? +
If you have a design file, we build from it. If you do not, we work from your brand guidelines and build directly in the browser using a component system, sharing previews at each stage. We do not charge separately for design iterations within scope.
What does it cost? +
The audit is free. The build is scoped after the audit because the right scope depends on what we find and what you want to ship. We write the scope and the price into the agreement before any work begins. A landing page is a different conversation from a full product build, and we size accordingly.
Can you handle SEO and growth after the build? +
Yes. Every build we ship is SEO-ready from day one: semantic HTML, structured data, performance budgets, and analytics wired in. If you want ongoing SEO or growth work after the build, we run that through the same team. There is no handoff to a different agency.
How long does a typical project take? +
A landing page or marketing site is typically four to six weeks from scope sign-off to launch, including content, QA, and deployment. A product build depends on scope, but we structure the work in fixed sprints so you see working software at the end of each one, not a big reveal at the end.
