We usually measure it as a percentage, and it’s a number that is basically used to calculate the pattern a digital campaign has got.

HOW DO YOU CALCULATE IT? 🔢

As we said before the CTR is calculated in percentage. We calculate it in this way: by dividing the contacts that we have received on a link by the views by the users (impressions) multiplied by 100. For example: let’s have a result in Google viewed 2000 times and that achieved 30 clicks, our CTR will be obtained like this:

CTR= (Clicks / Prints) x 100 = (30 / 2000) x 100 = 1.5
CTR = 1.5 %.
Where can I see the CTR of our website in Google?
Thanks to the Google Search Console tool, you can control the CTR of your website in Google search results.
Go to “Traffic Search” section; Search Analysis” and select “Pages and CTR”.

The CTR is already one of the main factors that influence our SEO positioning. It is essential that our links are attractive to get the most clicks in the SERPs and that our CTR is always higher. There are some methods that can help increase our CTR in search results.

Now that you know what the CTR is and how to measure it, try to improve your search results to make your website more and more attractive and make it move up the SERP positions as quickly as possible.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CTR 🤔

It allows you to increase web traffic to your landing pages. Logically, the higher the CTR, the more clicks you will get in less time. In this way, we will have more users willing to enter our conversion funnel.

It allows you to measure the “health” of your ads. We can see the click rate as a very clear indicator of the interest generated by an ad among our target audience. If the CTR is very low, this indicates that there is a problem preventing users from clicking. It may be that the offer is not attractive, that there are display problems on different devices, that the text or image is not appropriate… but in any case it indicates that we have to work to improve the campaign.

It makes your advertisement more profitable. Both Google Ads and social network ads work with a metric called “quality level”. The quality level is a score that the system assigns to ads based on their interest in users, and one of the factors that determine this score is the percentage of clicks.

Because we try to prioritize higher quality ads, getting a high quality level means better placement and cheaper clicks, making our ads much more profitable. So, if you want to make your budget profitable, don’t forget to pay attention to CTR.

<span class="embed-youtube" style="text-align:center;
